A very pleasant vacation and celebration for my family
Staying in Boracay Mandarin Island Hotel is such a wonderful way to spend a beach vacation / special ocassion celebration with my family. The roundrtip airport transfer via Caticlan is really smooth. All hotel staffs are really accommodating and nice. I really appreciate how attentive and helpful they are in terms of providing assistance and convenience to my senior citizens parents especially during the boat transfer. All throughout our stay the staffs never cease to greet us with their big smile. They also fulfill all our requests to the best of their abilities. Their attention to details is really exceptional like the anniversary setup they prepared which serves as a welcome surprise for my two companions. As well as the surprise birthday greetings and cake on the day of my birthday while we were having our breakfast. The free lava cake is really good! I booked two rooms with a seaview and I really love it. Adjacent rooms have been assigned to us at the second level, both located at the center facing the sea. Perfect spot to watch the sunset, relax while enjoying the beachview and pool area and even watch the live band at Don Vito Restaurant. The bed and pillows are really soft and comfy. We all slept well during our stay. Another important thing that I like is the good soundproofing. We barely hear the noise from the live band on closed balcony doors and curtains. All esential toiletries have been provided, including umbrellas,  rubber slippers and eco bag. Beach towels are also available by request. Don Vito restaurant serves good meal. Apart from the complimentary breakfast, we're able to have lunch and dinner at their restaurant. It's probably the reason why alot of guests are dining at their place. Live band and good food. The internet connection is fast and reliable. And its usable witihin the hotel premises. Great for working remotely. Overall my family and I really had a pleasant stay at Mandarin Island Hotel.
It would be good if they have a wide selection for the breakfast buffet. I noticed that there is not much choices for vegetarians and those that can only eat fish. The menu is kind of repetitive which becomes less enjoyable if you are staying for more than two days. The bathroom hanger is too high, challenging for a small built person. Anyway, these are just minor things for me and not really a big deal compared to the great service and experience provided by the hotel staffs. But I do hope they can be improved.

What was the highlight of Boracay Mandarin Island Hotel
Highly recommended, central location but quiet.
Queen room was lovely, with a 4-poster bed, felt like a real queen sleeping in it, it was very comfortable. Staff gave me a cake on my birthday which was sweet. Live music at the restaurant every night is also a plus. Location is near to D'Mall and other restaurants and shops are all within walking distance.
